We are a Netflix family. The kids, the husband and I are big fans
If it weren’t for my need to watch The Real Housewives of every city in the U.S. of A, we would probably cancel our cable subscription, but alas, not happening.
So what are we watching this summer??
ME:
I’ve been watching some documentaries and stand-up comedy specials that I’ve really enjoyed.
Ali Wong: Baby Cobra – She is HYSTERICAL. This is one hour of hilarious joy – WATCH IT!!
AMY – A fantastic documentary about Amy Winehouse. Totally wrecked me.
LUTHER – My girlfriend Laura has been telling me to watch this show FOREVER, and I finally sat down and watched it and totally binged on it. It was so good, and so well done, that it’s probably one of the best shows I’ve seen in ages. Also, Idris Elba is very pretty with an accent, so there’s that. And the man can act. Watch this one a.s.a.p!
The HUSBAND:
Daredevil – Season 2: LOVED IT. He liked the first season, but thought the new season was amazing.
Marco Polo – Season 2: LOVED IT.
The 100: He’s a big fan of this show.
STRANGER THINGS – LOVED IT and thought it was very scary, so I won’t be watching this one.
The Kids:
NICHOLAS: We’ve been watching The Office together, and it’s a new favourite for both of us. He’s also a big fan of Video Game Highschool, and Sherlock. We tried to watch the second season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, but we didn’t love it as much as the first season.
NASIA: She is my little animal lover, so we were thrilled to discover a show called The Bionic Vet. She also loves Fuller House, Victorious and Mako Mermaids. She’s so cute.
